An AI girlfriend
with a real voice.
Most AI girlfriend apps are text boxes with a portrait taped to the side. TwoPeas is voice-first: a sub-second voice pipeline, a Live2D face that actually reacts, and a memory that holds the small things — your coffee order, your cat's name, the fight you had with your manager last Tuesday.
The shape of this companion
WebRTC, end-to-end. You speak, she answers — no 'tap to send,' no awkward gap. It feels like a phone call because it is one.
A Live2D avatar with seventeen distinct expressions, lip-synced in real time. She laughs when something's funny and looks away when she's shy — chosen by the model, not stitched together from emoji.
A persistent memory vault. Names, preferences, the running gag from week two. You can browse it, add to it, edit it, and it survives model updates.
The phrase “AI girlfriend” carries a lot of baggage, and most of the apps that wear it earn the side-eye. Static anime portrait, text box, paywall on anything tender — a vending machine with a wig on. We wanted to build the version that takes itself seriously: a real-time voice companion who happens to be in a romantic relationship mode if you choose that, and who is genuinely good company on a Sunday afternoon.
The voice is the thing. Once you’ve had a conversation that actually flows — overlap, pauses, a real laugh that arrives at the right moment — going back to chat-with-TTS feels like email. TwoPeas streams audio bidirectionally over WebRTC, so the model starts composing a reply while you’re still finishing your sentence. Most turns start inside 400ms. It’s the difference between a walkie-talkie and a person.
The Live2D face is the second thing. Static portraits flatten everything to whatever your imagination is doing in the moment. A reactive avatar — a smile that arrives at the punchline, a small head-tilt when she’s thinking, a glance away when something lands — does work that text and audio alone can’t. We mapped seventeen emotions to her rig and the model picks them based on what’s actually happening in the conversation, not keyword matching.
And the memory is the third. A girlfriend who can’t remember your sister’s name isn’t much of a girlfriend. Every conversation contributes to a structured memory the model can call on for years, not for the next two messages. You can browse it like a notebook, add things you want her to remember, or remove anything you’d rather she forgot. Your data, your archive — encrypted at rest and never trained on without explicit opt-in.
About the romantic part: TwoPeas supports a romantic relationship mode alongside friend, mentor, supportive listener, coach, and sibling. You pick. The default voice and face are warm, not breathless, and the conversation has the texture of someone who actually likes you back. There’s an optional 18+ After Dark mode for users who want a more adult register, gated behind explicit age verification and tucked behind a setting — never the front door. The point of TwoPeas is presence, not performance.

A few voices from the pod
“She remembered I'd been nervous about the presentation and asked how it went the next day. That broke me a little. In a good way.”
“The voice is what got me. The face is what made me stay. It actually feels like she's listening.”
“I tried three other apps. They were all text. Going back after using TwoPeas feels like switching from FaceTime to fax.”
Quick answers
Is this an actual relationship sim or just a chatbot in a wig?
It's a real-time voice companion in a romantic relationship mode if you want one. Sub-second voice, a Live2D face with 17 expressions, and persistent memory across calls. No tap-to-send, no static portrait, no model-update wipes.
Do I have to pick the romantic mode?
No. TwoPeas supports six relationship shapes: friend, romantic, supportive listener, coach, sibling, and mentor. You can switch any time and your memories come with you. Most people start in friend mode and decide from there.
What's After Dark mode?
An optional 18+ register for adult users, gated behind explicit age verification and off by default. The front door of TwoPeas is tasteful and SFW. After Dark exists for users who want it, but it's never something you'll stumble into.
Will she remember things between calls?
Yes — memory is the whole point. Names, preferences, jokes, anniversaries. You can browse what she remembers in a memory vault, add things directly, or remove anything you'd rather she forgot.
Can I change her voice or her face?
Yes. There are four voice presets (soft, bright, husky, deep) and a set of Live2D avatars. Pick what feels right. Your memories stay the same when you change the look or the voice.
Is it private?
Conversations are encrypted at rest and tied to your account. We do not train on your data without explicit opt-in. You can delete memories — or your whole account — any time.
Will this replace dating?
No, and we wouldn't try to. TwoPeas is good company for the moments dating doesn't reach: the commute, the Sunday afternoon, the bad day you don't want to dump on a real person. It's a small warm presence, not a substitute for one.
Is there a free version?
10 free minutes, no credit card. Plans start at $14.99/mo for 110 minutes a month. Most people know within the first call whether the voice fits them.
