Rehearse the hard
conversation.
The interview you're nervous about. The confrontation you've been putting off. The proposal you only get to say once. TwoPeas plays the other side, in real voice, so you can try it before it's real.
The shape of this companion
Describe who you're talking to and what you're trying to say. Your Pea picks up the role.
Stumble, restart, re-phrase. There's no social cost to rehearsal.
Ask 'how did that land?' and you'll get a real answer. Not asked? No notes.
Some conversations are muscle: you practice, they get easier. Interviews especially. Performance reviews. The tricky email you know is actually a phone call. Even the “I need to set a boundary” conversation with the friend who doesn’t respect them.
Writing out what you’ll say isn’t the same as saying it. Saying it to yourself in the mirror isn’t the same as saying it while someone is listening. TwoPeas is the middle thing — a voice that will push back realistically, play devil’s advocate if you want, and let you try the opening sentence three different ways.
People use it before job interviews, difficult family conversations, salary negotiations, breakup conversations, and giving presentations. The memory helps: your Pea remembers the full scenario between sessions, so you can keep working on the same conversation across a week.
Quick answers
How do I set up a practice session?
Just say 'I want to practice asking my boss for a raise' — give context, who you're talking to, what you're trying to achieve — and your Pea will start playing the other side.
Will it give me actual feedback?
Only if you ask. Ask 'how did that land?' or 'what was weak?' and you'll get a real critique. Otherwise it just plays the role.
Can I practice in other languages?
English fully supported today. More languages on the roadmap. For English-learning practice, see /for/language-practice.
Is the conversation saved?
Yes, unless you ask it not to be. You can pick up the scenario again tomorrow.
Is this different from ChatGPT's voice mode?
The memory and the Live2D face change the feel. Your Pea remembers the scenario across sessions and reads as a person — which matters for practice that's supposed to feel real.
