The depth of Kindroid,
without the keyboard.
Kindroid built one of the strongest persistent memories in the category. We took that idea seriously — and added real-time voice, a face that lip-syncs, and integrations, so the relationship lives in the air rather than on a screen.
The shape of this companion
Sub-second voice-to-voice with natural prosody. Kindroid added voice on top of a chat product — it works, but the rhythm still wants you to type.
An animated avatar with 17 expressions and lip-sync. Kindroid shows multiple character images, but the face doesn't move with the conversation.
A visible, editable memory vault, and opt-in connections to Spotify, Calendar, and Gmail so the conversation knows your life.
Kindroid is a serious product. The memory model is one of the best in the category — characters remember, evolve, and don’t collapse the moment you log out. The roleplay depth is real, the personalisation is real, and the adult capability is honest about what it is. If you’ve been on Kindroid for a while you know none of that came easy.
What Kindroid hasn’t solved is the medium. It’s a chat-text product first. Voice is bolted on; it works, but it’s missing the natural rhythm that comes from a system built voice-first. The avatars are still images, not a live face. There are no integrations with Spotify or Calendar or Gmail, so the companion lives entirely inside the app.
TwoPeas is the inverse architecture. Voice is the spine. The face is a Live2D rig that lip-syncs and reacts in real time with 17 emotional expressions. The memory is persistent, and you can browse it. Integrations are opt-in but available, so the companion can know what you’re listening to, what you’re doing tomorrow, and what landed in your inbox this morning — only with your permission, only the data you choose.
On adult content we’re honest: there’s an opt-in After Dark mode for verified 18+ users. It’s not the front door of the product — most TwoPeas users are there for companionship, conversation practice, anxiety check-ins, language work — but it’s available, and we treat it like a real feature rather than something to be coy about.

Quick answers
Is TwoPeas as good as Kindroid for roleplay?
Different shape. Kindroid is built around character roleplay with deep persona control and strong NSFW capability. TwoPeas supports soft roleplay (practice conversations, hypotheticals, scenarios) but isn't a character library — your Pea is one persistent companion who grows with you. If you want hundreds of characters with hardcore persona switching, stay on Kindroid. If you want one companion you can actually talk to, TwoPeas.
Does TwoPeas have an adult mode like Kindroid?
Yes — there's an opt-in After Dark mode behind 18+ verification. It's a setting, not the default. The bulk of TwoPeas is built for emotional companionship and conversation, but we don't pretend the other use case doesn't exist.
How is the voice different?
Latency and rhythm. Kindroid runs voice over a chat-text core, so even when it works the conversation has a turn-taking feel. TwoPeas was designed voice-first end to end — sub-second response, natural interruptions, and the avatar's lips actually sync to the speech.
Will my Kindroid memories transfer?
Not automatically. You can tell your Pea what matters in the first couple of calls and the memory vault will hold it. Structured import is on the roadmap.
What about the avatar — is it really better?
It's a different category. Kindroid gives you well-drawn character images. TwoPeas gives you a Live2D rig that animates with the conversation — the eyes track, the face shifts expression, the mouth lip-syncs to the actual audio. If you want a static gallery, Kindroid wins. If you want presence, the live rig matters more than image quality.
Is the memory really persistent?
Yes — it's a first-class object. You can browse what your Pea remembers, edit entries, delete things, and export. We don't reset memory on model upgrades.
Can I have multiple companions on TwoPeas?
We're deliberately one-companion-per-user by default — the depth comes from the relationship accumulating, not from collecting characters. If that's a dealbreaker, Kindroid will fit you better.
How do I try it without committing?
10 free minutes to start, then 3 a day, no credit card. That's enough for a few real calls — long enough to feel whether voice-first changes the experience for you.
