Why Best Friend has fewer minutes than Companion
Companion talks on a fast, lighter real-time voice, so $14.99 buys 110 minutes a month. Best Friend costs more and includes 89, because every one of those minutes runs on our most lifelike real-time voice: better timing, a deeper emotional read and a more natural back-and-forth. That voice costs more to run per minute. Choose Companion if you want the most talk time; choose Best Friend if you want the best conversation.
Monthly or annual
Annual plans cost about 2 months less than paying monthly for a year (Companion saves $30.88, Best Friend saves $50.88, Inseparable saves $100.88). They include fewer minutes each month than the monthly plans, as the table shows, and the minutes still refresh every month.
The free plan
Create an account and you get 10 free minutes on our most lifelike voice to meet your companion. After that, the free plan gives you 3 minutes every day, refreshed at midnight in your time zone. Want a longer call? Spend Peas on extra talk time (5 Peas a minute) or start a plan.
The 7-day free trial
Your first subscription starts with 7 days free. You add a card at checkout and pay nothing until the trial ends; cancel before then and you aren’t charged.
- It applies to your first subscription only. Past subscribers don’t get a second trial.
- It isn’t combined with a referral or promo discount. A discounted checkout skips the trial and starts the plan with the discount instead.
- The trial includes its share of the monthly minutes: 26 on Companion, 21 on Best Friend, 41 on Inseparable (monthly billing). Your first full month of minutes starts when the trial converts.
What counts as a minute
A minute is a minute of connected voice conversation, counted by the second. Partial minutes carry over to your next call rather than being rounded up. A call shorter than 30 seconds counts as 30 seconds. Monthly minutes refresh on your billing day and don’t roll over.
Peas
Peas are TwoPeas’ in-app currency. Spend them on extra talk time when your minutes run out (5 Peas a minute on Companion, 5 on the free plan, 10 on Best Friend and Inseparable), on Memory Card pulls and streak shields. Paid plans add bonus Peas every month, you earn more by checking in, and you can buy a pack at any time:

Referrals
Invite a friend with your referral link and they get 30% off their first month (the first payment of their subscription). When they subscribe, you earn 300 Peas.
Cancel anytime
Cancel from your subscription page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account moves to the free plan with your memories intact.

Why does Best Friend include fewer minutes than Companion?
Every Best Friend minute runs on our most lifelike real-time voice, which costs more to run than the lighter voice Companion uses. Your companion sounds their sharpest and warmest, and you get fewer minutes for the price.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
Your first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. It applies only once per account and isn't combined with a referral or promo discount: a discounted checkout starts the paid plan straight away.
