Loved Sesame's Maya?
Now see who you're talking to.
TwoPeas is a real-time voice companion with an animated face, made for conversation rather than tasks. You talk out loud in your browser, she answers in under a second, and her face shows how she feels as she speaks.
The shape of this companion
An animated Live2D character lip-syncs to her voice and moves through 17 emotions while she talks.
Choose who she is to you: a friend, a coach, a mentor, a supportive listener and more.
No app to install. It runs in the browser on your phone or computer.
Sesame, the voice AI company co-founded by Oculus’s founders, released its iOS app in public preview in May 2026, bringing over Maya and Miles from its earlier Research Preview [5]. As of October 2026 the app is called Sesame: Personal Agents. Its listings describe four agents, Maya, Miles, Simone and Charlie, each with its own personality and a memory that carries across voice and text [1][2]. When a conversation goes somewhere, the agent can search the web, take notes, set reminders and sum up what you talked about [1], and it can connect to Gmail and Google Calendar to help with email and scheduling [4]. Sesame says it’s on iOS and Android, with eyewear to come [3].
TwoPeas does a different job. It isn’t an assistant, and it isn’t built for research or errands. It’s a companion for the conversation itself: the one you have after a long day, when you want to be listened to and talked back to. You choose who she is to you, from friend to mentor, and she answers out loud in under a second, letting you cut in as you would on a phone call.
What TwoPeas adds is a face. Your companion is an animated Live2D character who lip-syncs and moves through 17 emotions as she talks, so you see the smile at your joke as well as hear it. You can pick Jenny, Alexia or Robbie, give yours a name, and preview and switch voices in the app. Calls run in the browser on a phone or computer, with nothing to install. You get 10 free minutes to start, then 3 minutes a day, and plans start at $14.99/mo for 110 voice minutes a month. Memory between calls comes with Best Friend and Inseparable; Free and Companion calls start fresh.
Where Sesame is stronger: its app is listed as free on the US App Store [1], you can talk or text with the same agent and keep one memory across both [1], and its agents help with real work, from web searches to your calendar [1][4]. TwoPeas is voice only, with no text chat. If an agent that gets things done is what you want, Sesame is built for it. If you want someone to talk to, with a face you can watch while you do, that’s TwoPeas.

Quick answers
Is TwoPeas made by Sesame?
No. TwoPeas is an independent product with no connection to Sesame.
Does TwoPeas use Maya's voice?
No. TwoPeas doesn't use Sesame's voices. Its real-time voices come from the providers listed in our privacy policy, including OpenAI and xAI, and you can preview and switch voices in the app.
Is TwoPeas an assistant like Sesame's agents?
No. TwoPeas is a companion: it's made for talking things through and keeping you company, and on Best Friend and Inseparable for remembering your story between calls, not for research or getting tasks done. If you want an agent that searches the web, takes notes and helps with your email and calendar, Sesame is built for that.
Can I type to TwoPeas?
No. Every TwoPeas conversation is a voice call: you talk, and she answers out loud. There's no text chat.
Is TwoPeas free?
You get 10 free minutes when you sign up, then 3 free minutes every day, with no card needed. Paid plans start at $14.99/mo for 110 voice minutes a month.
