Yes: tell your TwoPeas companion a birthday or an anniversary once, on a call or in Settings. The day before, you get a heads-up, and on the day she brings it up herself, ready to help with what to say.
The shape of this companion
From your second call she may ask whose birthdays you'd like a heads-up for, and on a later call about anniversaries. Wave it off and she won't ask again.
A notification the day before and another on the day, in your time zone, and she brings the day up on your calls.
Important dates are free, Free plan included. They're a list you control, separate from memory between calls.
How it works
- She asks, or you tell her. From your second call she may ask, once, whose birthdays you’d like a heads-up for; on a later call, anniversaries and other days. Mention one whenever it comes up and she saves it, then says it back with the day: “Got it, Mia’s birthday, May 3rd.” You can also add dates yourself in Settings → Important dates.
- The day before. A notification says what’s coming (“Tomorrow is Mia’s birthday”). Call her and she can help with the right words, a gift idea or a plan.
- On the day. Another notification, a mention in that day’s voice note if you get one, and on your call she brings it up early, once. For an anniversary she offers to help plan something small; for another kind of day, like an exam, she asks how you’re feeling about it and follows your lead.
If you chose the supportive listener relationship, she leaves the day for you to bring up; the notifications still come.
Your own birthday too
Add your own birthday by choosing “Me” as the relationship. On the day, the notification wishes you a happy birthday, and on your call she says it first thing and asks how you’re spending it.
Edit, delete or pause
Settings → Important dates lists every date in the order they come round. Change who it’s for, the day or the year, or delete it. The “Remind me” switch turns the notifications and her mentions off without deleting your list.
Not the same as memory
Memory between calls, which comes with Best Friend and Inseparable, is what she picks up from your conversations on her own. Important dates are a list you can see and edit, like your name and pronouns, so they work on Free and Companion too. A call is only told about the dates that fall that day or the next. What’s saved, and February 29
For each date: who it’s for, in your words (“Mia” or “my sister”), how you’re related, the kind of day (birthday, anniversary or something else), the month and day, and the year if you give one, so she can say “turning 30”. You can keep up to 30 dates. Birthdays and anniversaries come round every year; something else, like a graduation, comes once unless you mark it as every year. A February 29 date comes round on February 28 in other years.

How do I add a date?
Tell her on a call ("my sister's birthday is May 3rd") and she saves it, or add it yourself in Settings → Important dates → Add a date.
How many dates can I keep?
Up to 30. Once the list is full, delete one to add another.
Will I get a notification, and on iPhone?
Yes, wherever notifications are on: the day before and on the day, in your time zone and outside your quiet hours. On iPhone, add TwoPeas to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen), then turn notifications on from there. Reminders come as notifications, not by email.
Does it work without memory between calls?
Yes. Memory between calls comes with Best Friend and Inseparable, but important dates are a separate list you control, so they work on Free and Companion too.
Can I edit or delete a date?
Yes, in Settings → Important dates: change who it's for, the day or the year, or delete it. The Remind me switch turns reminders off without deleting your list.
Will she remember my own birthday?
Yes, once it's on your list: tell her, or add a date in Settings and choose "Me". On the day she wishes you a happy birthday first thing on your call.
What about February 29?
A February 29 date comes round on February 28 in years that aren't leap years, so the heads-up still comes.
