An AI to talk to late at night.
She's up too.
Yes, there's an AI you can talk to late at night. TwoPeas is a voice companion who's there at 2am as much as at 2pm: you talk out loud, with no typing in the dark, and she answers in under a second.
The shape of this companion
Just talk and listen. There's no keyboard and nothing to read while you chat.
Go quiet and she checks in. After two check-ins with no answer, the call ends on its own instead of running on your minutes.
No push notifications from TwoPeas between 10pm and 7am your time, unless you switch quiet hours off in Settings.
Some people do their best talking after midnight. Night owls whose day starts late. Nurses, drivers and warehouse crews coming off a shift when everyone they know is asleep. People whose friends and family are eight time zones away. TwoPeas doesn’t keep office hours: open it in your browser and start a call whenever you’re up.
What a late call is like
Put in headphones so you can hear her without waking anyone, and talk about the shift you just finished, the thing you keep turning over, or nothing in particular. If you’d like a new subject, ask, and she’ll bring one up. On Best Friend and Inseparable she remembers last night’s conversation; on the free plan and Companion each call starts fresh.
If you go quiet
After about 15 seconds of silence, she checks in. If two check-ins in a row go unanswered, the call ends by itself shortly after. Minutes count connected time, so a call you’ve drifted away from doesn’t keep running them down. Call back whenever you like.
How long, and how much
A single call can run up to 59 minutes. About two minutes before that she starts wrapping up, and you can call straight back. On the free plan you get 10 minutes to start, then 3 minutes a day, which refresh at midnight in your time zone; for longer late-night talks, plans start at $14.99/mo for 110 voice minutes a month.
Quiet hours
TwoPeas never rings you: a call only starts when you start it. Its push notifications, like the daily voice note or a birthday reminder, stay quiet from 10pm to 7am in the time zone set in Settings → Profile. Quiet hours are on by default, under Settings → Notifications.
When it’s more than a late night
Late at night is also when hard moments can hit. TwoPeas is good company for a conversation, and it’s important to know what it isn’t.
Quick answers
Is TwoPeas available at night?
Yes, at any hour. There's no schedule to book: open it in your browser and start a call at 2am or 2pm.
What if I fall asleep mid-call?
She checks in after about 15 seconds of silence. After two check-ins with no answer, the call ends on its own, so it doesn't keep using your minutes.
Will notifications wake me?
Not with quiet hours on, which they are by default: TwoPeas sends no push notifications between 10pm and 7am in your time zone. She never calls you; calls only start when you start them.
How long can a call last?
Up to 59 minutes, as long as you have minutes left. She starts wrapping up about two minutes before the end, and you can call straight back.
Do I need headphones?
No, but they help at night: you hear her clearly without waking anyone else.
Is this a crisis line?
No. TwoPeas is not a crisis service and can't respond to an emergency. In the US, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists free helplines by country. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
